Duggan Veterinary Group and Holycross/Ballycahill Camogie Club named winner in National Guaranteed Irish GAA competition
Duggan Veterinary Group, the family-owned animal health wholesaler, distributor and manufacturer based in Thurles, has been named one of the winners of the Guaranteed Irish GAA competition, in recognition of its ongoing support for local Camogie club Holycross/Ballycahill.
The award forms part of Guaranteed Irish's nationwide 'Are You in The Guaranteed Irish Club' campaign, launched in partnership with the GAA to recognise and reward Guaranteed Irish member businesses that give back to their communities through their support of local GAA clubs, teams and counties. Four businesses were selected as winners from a strong field of entries submitted by businesses and clubs across the country.
Duggan Veterinary Group's entry, showcasing its longstanding support for Holycross/Ballycahill Camogie Club, was praised by the judging panel for its creativity, genuine community impact, and reflection of the values that underpin GAA communities nationwide.
The judging panel included GAA President Jarlath Burns, broadcaster Aisling O'Reilly, and Guaranteed Irish Chairperson Damien McCann.
As one of four winning businesses nationally, Duggan Veterinary Group's prize includes €5,000 for Holycross/Ballycahill Camogie Club, a special gift for the club's Under-14 Juvenile team, regional PR coverage, and a framed photograph with the GAA President. The company and club representatives have also been invited to an exclusive winners' event at Croke Park on Wednesday, 9th September.
