Sars bow out of munster championship
Thurles Sarsfield bowed out of this year's Munster Senior Club Hurling Championship after losing to Clare champions Cratloe in Ennis on Sunday.
A week on after securing their 33rd county title, the Tipperary champions had to play with 14 men after Denis Maher received a red card following an incident at the throw-in.
Final score – Cratloe 1-18, Thurles Sarsfields 0-14.
