Fireworks display this Friday in Nenagh

 Don't miss what promises to be a magnificent fireworks display, the highlight of the annual Nenagh Spleodar Festival on this Friday, Halloween night. Fundraiser for little Billy in Ballycommon this Saturday

A fundraising night will be held this Saturday, November 1st, for the two year old son of a Nenagh hair salon proprietor who has spent the last three months in hospital unable to walk or move after contracting a virus. Little Billy Goulding's mum Eileen, runs a hair salon in Kenyon Street. The fundraiser is in the Thatched Cottage in Ballycommon. Family Fun Day at Specsavers this Saturday

Calling all children! A Superhero Family Fun Day is being hosted by Specsavers this Friday and Saturday at their Quentin's Way shop in Nenagh. It's all part of the store's efforts to raise funds for Our Lady's Children's Hospital in Crumlin.

 

Water charges demonstration in Nenagh this Saturday

A march in opposition to the proposed water charges will be staged in Nenagh this Saturday, starting at the Railway Station at 2pm. The march is being organised by the Nenagh & District Against Water Charges group.  The march will proceed through Kenyon Street and Pearse Street and to Banba Square where organisers will address those taking part.

 

  

Phantom of the Opera in the Scouts Hall this Friday, Saturday and Sunday

The fabulous new look Scouts Hall in Nenagh comes back into use this weekend with The Phantom of the Opera is staged by the youth academy of Nenagh Choral Society on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Booking is advisable. See all the details on Page 10 of this week's issue of The Guardian.

 

County Senior hurling final this Sunday

The Tipperary Senior Hurling Final will take place this Sunday between Loughmore-Castleiney and Thurles Sarsfields in Semple Stadium at 3.30pm.
