New beginning for nenagh electrical business

A new beginning beckons for Nenagh's Hoare family electrical business following the recent move from their Pearse street shop and consolidation of the business to Silver St.
Hoare Brothers Electrical will hold an official launch at their Silver St store on Friday next, August 21st. There will be special offers in store with a raffle on the day for prizes including a colour TV. Hoare Brothers Electrical will also launch their new website.
The end of an era of sorts was marked recently when the family closed their Pearse St premises. Opened by Paddy Hoare and his wife Kathleen in 1977, the main street shop quickly established a widespread reputation for hallmark electrical appliances, electrical wholesale, electrical rewinds and pump services.

For the Hoare family, a new chapter now begins as the next generation of the family – brothers John, Patrick and Brian – launch their new business.  All of them growing up with the family business, the three brothers are proud of their reputation for quality, friendly, personal service, excellent product knowledge and competitive pricing. John manages the retail department, Brian specialises in repairs and services, while Patrick heads up the electrical contracting business.

Hoare Brothers Electrical stock a wide range of large domestic appliances, including refrigeration, washing and cooking appliances from such leading brand names as Beko, Hot Point and Nordmende. They also retail small domestic appliances from the likes of Russell Hobbs, Tefal and Morphy Richards.

In the area of TVs and audio equipment, the bright and spacious Silver St store – which the family opened in addition to the Pearse St premises in 1998 – is home to goods from Panasonic and LG TVs , and also computers from Toshiba and other brands. You will also find telephone accessories, batteries, bulbs (including low energy light bulbs), hoover bags, hair care devices and a wide range of spare parts for electrical appliances.

There is also a wholesale trade area, where the brothers facilitate electricians and contractors – this is now open from 8am to 6pm  (through lunch time) daily. The business also specialises in motor rewinds, serving factories and the farming community. They also supply and carry out repairs to water pumps with full backup service and provide and maintain water pumps for private dwellings.

In the area of electrical contracting & electrical maintenance, Hoare Brothers Electrical are members of the Register of Electrical Contractors of Ireland (RECI). In water pump maintenance, they maintain and install water pump systems for dairy and general farm use and also supply UV systems (treat bacteria).

And with almost 40 years of experience to draw on, Hoare Brothers Electrical can offer assistance and valuable advice to customers when planning a project, or if customers are in difficulty with an electrical problem. The staff at Hoare Brothers Electrical are friendly and helpful and will assist customers to high standards.

The Hoare brothers would like to thank their staff and also all those who assisted in helping with the business transition. They would also like to thank all their customers for their loyalty over the years and for their patience during the transition. And the Hoare brothers wish to acknowledge and thank their parents Paddy and Kathleen for all the hard work that they endured over the past years to produce such a fine business, respected by people up and down the country. We wish them well in their retirement.
All are welcome to join them on the opening day at Silver St this Friday, August 21st, from 2-5pm. They will have lots of special offers plus a raffle with some great prizes to be won. The website will also be launched on Friday – you can visit it on www.hoarebrotherselectrical.ie or call us on (067) 41000, or please come to Silver Street on the day.

Hoare Brothers Electrical is open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and on Saturday from 9am to 6pm.  Please call (067) 41000.
