Paddy cole to perform at the peoples picnic in nenagh

The end of the summer is to be celebrated in style in Nenagh when the People's Picnic takes place in the Castle Field on Saturday afternoon, August 29th.

The event, organised by local councillor Hughie McGrath and his team of volunteers,  promises to be a great day of fun and entertainment for all the family.

'We are hoping that all the people of Nenagh turn up for what is going to be one giant community picnic,' Hughie told The Guardian.

Topping the music bill will be the jazz maestro Paddy Cole, along with the Tipperary woman with the golden voice, Louise Morrissey and local band, Ebony.

There will be food stalls, a marquee for dancing and entertainment for children will include carousel, slides, bouncing castles and a pet farm. The event will run from 1pm to 5.30pm and entry to the Castle Field is free.
