Funds will allow for building and repair work to take place.

Cahill announces funding for schools

Deputy Jackie Cahill has confirmed that Inch National School has been approved by the Department of Education for funding under the Emergency Works Scheme. This funding will be used for fabric defect works, and comes following a successful application earlier this week for Scoil Naomh Cualán in Borrisoleigh.

“I am delighted to announce that Inch NS will receive funding that it has applied for under the Emergency Works Scheme. This will allow for much needed fabric defect works in the school,” he said.

“This follows an announcement by the department earlier this week of funding for building works in Scoil Naomh Cualán in Borrisoleigh, and is yet more positive news for the county. I would like to thank Minister Norma Foley for her consideration of this proposal, and I would like to congratulate the school management on all of the hard work they put into making a success of their application,” Deputy Cahill concluded.
