Any tickets?” It’s now the most common question in Tipperary as an all-out scramble begins to gain a piece of 'gold dust' - a stand seat or a spot on the terraces in Croke Park on All Ireland Final Day on Sunday.

Tipperary has just gone hurling bonkers as fans battle to get their hands on a couple of those coveted rights of passage to what promises to be an epic contest between Liam Sheedy’s  men and the Cats from Kilkenny.

After the thrilling show in defeating  Wexford against all the odds, there’s huge expectation in the county that Sheedy can repeat his 2010 feat when he last managed a Tipp side that beat the Cats in the decider.

The Nenagh Guardian has nominated this Friday, August 16th, as 'Tipperary Day' and we want to hear from you. With just two days to go before the big match, we are urging everyone to wear their colours or the blue and gold jersey and bedeck their homes, workplaces and vehicles in the county colours -  in a resounding show of support for the team.
