Nominees announced for irish greyhound racing awards

The nominees have been announced for the Irish Greyhound Board’s National Greyhound Racing Awards, which take place on Saturday 2nd May.

The Awards ceremony, which honours the top performers on Irish greyhound tracks in 2014, is this year kindly sponsored by Galway Crystal with media partners 96FM & Independent Newspapers. 

The coveted awards will be presented in ten categories – Dog of the Year, Bitch of the Year, Sprinter of the Year, Stayer of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Brood Bitch of the Year, Stud Dog of the Year, Special Merit, Greyhound Welfare Award and Hall of Fame.

The ceremony takes place in the Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium on Saturday 2nd May.
