Eanna Murray was to the fore for Templederry

Templederry back on track

Templederry Kenyons 1-24

Clonakenny 1-12

Templederry made very light work of a very disappointing Clonakenny effort as they got their Seamus O Riain Cup campaign back on track with a much needed and convincing win last Saturday evening.

This was a match in which Clonakenny never got close to the tune of, and with Templederry isolating Eanna Murray in full forward, they made hay throughout as Murray went to town with the space afforded to him, notching an impressive personal tally of 1-12, 1-6 from play.

The Kenyon's men will be happy with the win, but it was the performance that will please the management most, as it will go some way to erasing the no-shows of the previous championship matches and keeps them in the hunt to come out of the group that looks like going down to the wire.
