Pamela Scott opening in Nenagh

High-fashion clothing store for women Pamela Scott is to open an outlet in Nenagh this month.

Pamela Scott, which operates 27 stores across Ireland, is moving into the Pearse St premises formerly occupied by the Patrick Hoare & Sons electrical store.

Works on the building have been taking place and it is anticipated that the Nenagh store will be open before the end of November. A 28-year lease of the building has been signed.

It is understood that a large volume of CVs have been submitted for the Nenagh shop, where six or seven staff members will be required.

Founded at Grafton Street, Dublin, in 1976, Pamela Scott  is currently expanding nationwide with plans to open several more stores over the next 12 months; it is understood that one of these will be in Thurles.

The Irish-owned fashion store stocks leading labels such as Sophie B, Twist, Zapara, Olsen, Gerry Weber, Bianca and Betty Barclay. It also caters for the likes of weddings, debs, and Confirmations.
