Ardcroney coffee morning for Young Africa

A coffee morning will be held in Ardcroney Hall this Sunday, January 15th, in aid of Young Africa, with which Lindsay Cleary of Ardcroney and Mark O’Dwyer of Kilkeary are working in Zambia.

Lindsay and Mark are coordinating a new youth development and training project for Young Africa, the first of its kind in Zambia. They have been working for a number of years with Young Africa, an underprivileged youth empowerment group.

Founded in 1998, Young Africa is a skills training organisation with centres located in southern Africa. The mission of YA is to empower young people through vocational and technical skills training combined with life skills and entrepreneurship training.

Come along on Sunday to find out more about this exciting project, including how you can get involved volunteering locally and internationally in future. It will get underway at 10.15am (after Mass).
