Cycles and fun day in rearcross
Slieve Felim Community Cycle/Rearcross FC Community Day takes place this Sunday June 14th. The popular fun day boasts a strong emphasis on family involvement and includes a 100k and 50k cycle, which start at 9am while the 10k cycle begins at 11am. The cycles feature as part of National Bike Week programme of events, which will be taking place across North Tipperary from this Saturday.
The community fun day begins at 11am and features an exciting programme including piglet racing, 5-a-side bubble soccer competition, milk churn racing, juvenile treasure hunt, face painting, Irish music and dancing exhibition as well as pony/donkey cart rides.
Rearcross Walking Group in association with Rearcross FC Community Day will hold forestry looped walks on Saturday June 13th including 17km, 12km & 5km routes. Registration will take place from 1pm at Rearcross FC Grounds, entry fee is €10 and walks commence at 2pm. Light refreshments served afterwards, all are welco
