Nenagh centenary of sisters of mercy and st marys secondary school

In this week's Nenagh Guardian, Sr Kathleen Minogue traces the important role the Sisters of Mercy played in providing an education for girls in Nenagh after accepting an invitation from the then Bishop of Killaloe to come to the town.

St Mary's Secondary School are celebrating their centenary this Friday with a Mass at St Mary of the Rosary Church at 1.30pm.
