For the second year in a row, the North Tipp Wheelers Cycling Club will host the Munster Time Trial Championships.

The event this Saturday 8th June, will see cyclists from under 11 to those racing on the professional circuit battle against the clock on the old N7, regarded by many as perhaps the best Time Trial course in the country.

The Wheelers are rapidly gaining national recognition for organising both Time Trials and road races, having hosted a variety of successful events in recent years.

The event which is open to both full and limited license holders will have Cooper’s Bar in Birdhill as its base with the first riders away, the under 11’s, at 10.30am.

With a good weather forecast for the weekend this is an ideal opportunity to see the cream of Munster’s cyclists in action, the riders will leave the start line at two minute intervals and as the route is “out and back” they may also be seen as they return.
