Afternoon of memories with Killaloe-Ballina history group

As part of the National Community Weekend 2019, the Killaloe-Ballina Local History Society invite you to come along to an afternoon of ‘Memories’ on Monday next, May 6th, from 2.30pm to 5pm in Lakes Nursing Home, Killaloe.

If you grew up in the Killaloe-Ballina area and would like to share your memories of what our twin-towns were like in times past, or, if you would like to hear stories of what it was like to live here and how the towns have changed over the years, the organisers would love you to come along! A most entertaining afternoon is guaranteed with light refreshments provided by the nursing home, a slideshow of old images of Killaloe/Ballina, and music by our own Shannon Folk Four.

Admission is free and all are welcome to this event, which is kindly sponsored by Clare Local Community Development Committee and Tipperary Local Community Development Committee.
