Plan for Nenagh co-op

Arrabawn Co-Operative Society Limited has submitted an application for planning permission for development at its Nenagh co-op.

The development will consist of three main elements: 1) Re-location of main access to the dairy processing plant from Stafford Street
to the Kenyon Street/Well Road roundabout junction, and upgrade of existing milk intake facilities together with associated site development works; 2) Expansion of existing casein processing plant facility; 3) Upgrade of existing wastewater treatment plant.

It is proposed that the first element will, in addition to re-location of the site access, comprise upgrade works to the existing Kenyon Street/Well Road roundabout junction and demolition of the former Railway Bar and Sutton's Coal Yard properties
adjoining the Arrabawn Co-op site.

An Environmental Impact Assessment Report will be submitted to the Planning Authority with this application.
