The ‘Dancing at the Crossroads’ event in Carney on August 15 was a resounding success.

Carney Committee would like to thank the following for their donations and significant contribution to the festival: Una Creamer of Johnny Ryan’s Pub, Carney; Johnny Ryan, Tipperary County Council and Paul Tiernan.

A special thanks to the musicians and dancers, without whom there would be no festival. Music and sound provided by esteemed musicians Brendan McGrath, Keelan McGrath, Caithlín McGrath, Jack McGrath, Leah Grealish, Brendan Quinn & Liz McGaughan, accompanied on the night by Pat Fahy, and thanks to Adrian McCarthy for guiding the dancing.

Donations were gratefully received from Enda Heenan, Hassets of Borrisokane, Arrabawn and Dylan Conby.

A huge amount of time was given by our local community to pull this festival together and we are hugely thankful and proud to be part of a community that can come together to create such a wholesome and fun free event for all.
