Road fatality in Nenagh
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision involving two vehicles in Nenagh, on Tuesday, May 12.
Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to a collision involving two cars on the Nenagh to Dromineer Road R495, Nenagh, that occurred at approximately 9pm.
The driver of one car, a woman in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body was later taken to University Hospital Limerick where a post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course. The coroner has been notified.
The road is currently closed to allow for a technical examination to take place.
Any road users, who may have camera footage(including dash-cam) and were travelling on the Nenagh to Dromineer Road R495, Co. Tipperary, between 8.15pm and 9.15pm on Tuesday, May 12, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
