Grant allocation for cathedral

Good news for St Flannan’s Cathedral - a grant allocation of approximately €96,000 (under the Historic Structures Fund) is being awarded to the cathedral. This money will be used to carry out essential conservation works on the east gable, south walls and buttresses of the historic 12th/13th cathedral.

The Historic Structures Fund invests essential capital in our valuable built heritage and helps the owners and custodians of historic structures to safeguard them into the future for the benefit of communities and the public.
