Nenagh Warriors Basketball Club were delighted to welcome Emmanuel Peyton (Framington State University), Taylor Herd (Quinnipac University) and Daniel Ajuka (European Pro Basketball Player) to work and coach with all its teams last Saturday at Nenagh College.
These players have played at high levels across the USA and Europe and will be playing in the season ahead with Limerick Sport Eagles and Limerick Sport Huskies in the Super League.
This special one-off event was organised by Nenagh Warriors in conjunction with Basketball Ireland Development Officer, Niall Berry.
The event was attended by over 90 young boys and girls ranging in age from 7 to 18 years. The players learnt new skills, drills and a lot of fun was had by all.
Nenagh Warriors would like to thank Nenagh College for the use of their outdoor facilities over the summer period. The club looks forward to returning indoors from September 20th to the courts at Nenagh College, St. Mary’s Convent and the New Institute. New players are always welcome. Contact the club in advance to ensure there are spots in the particular age group. For enquiries WhatsApp 0894157065 or message on facebook.
