Intermediate Championship/League: The Savvy Kitchen sponsored North Intermediate Championship/league commenced last Saturday. Moneygall defeated Borrisokane by nine points whilst Shannon Rovers edged out Ballinahinch.

The second round is due to take place on the weekend of 30th July. Borrisokane will host neighbours Shannon Rovers whilst Moneygall will travel to Ballinahinch.

Junior 'A' League: The group stage concluded last Friday with Borris-Ileigh defeating Toomevara, whilst Nenagh Eire Og defeated Roscrea. Nenagh and Roscrea will face each other in the final after the sides finished as the top two in the group. This final will take place in Moneygall on Saturday 24th July at 7.00pm.

Junior ‘B’ League: The draw for the knockout stages of the Junior ‘B’ league took place at a CCC meeting last week. Kiladangan have been drawn straight to the final with Portroe to take on the Group 1 winners (either Silvermines or Ballina) in the semi-final.

Silvermines and Ballina played on Tuesday 20th in the final group game with no result at time of going to print. The play off is provisionally fixed for this Saturday 24th July with the final down for Saturday 31st July with Templederry as venue.

Under 19 Hurling: The pairings for the North ‘B’ championship have been finalised. The semi-finals will take place on Wednesday 28th July with Kilruane MacDonaghs facing Ballinahinch/Templederry and Borrisokane taking on Burgess.

In the Shield competition, Newport will take on Moneygall/Clonakenny and Borris-Ileigh playing Portroe. Times and venues will be confirmed in the coming days.

The knockout stage details in the ‘A’ championship will be confirmed to clubs within the coming days.

Championship Start Dates: Junior ‘A’ Hurling– Friday 31st July; Junior ‘B’ Hurling – Friday 6th August; Junior ‘C’ Hurling – weekend 14th/15th August
