Counting of votes resumes at 10am

The counting of votes resumes in the Presentation Secondary School at 10am with four seats still to be filled in the Tipperary Constituency. The fifth count will feature the distribution of the votes of Imelda Goldsboro (FF) 4,749, which should benefit the remaining FF candidate Jackie Cahill, who currently lies in fifth position.
Independent candidate Michael Lowry claimed the only seat so far after topping the poll for a sixth successive General Election on Sunday. Sinn Fein have enjoyed a groundswell of support nationally and this has been reflected in the Tipperary Constituency where Martin Browne is tipped to take the second seat later this morning.
The fourth count was completed on Sunday evening and altogether the race is run for a number of candidates including Dolores Cahill (Irish Freedom Party), Sandra Farrell (FF), Rob O'Donnell (Greens) and Imelda Goldsboro (FF).  Following count four the state of the candidates is:
