Sinn Fein have bagged 21 seats already.

Quinlivan elected on first count in Limerick City

Sinn Fein's Maurice Quinlivan continued his party's spectacular performance in General Election 2020 by claiming the first seat in the Limerick City constituency smashing the quota of 9,226 with over 11,000 first preference votes. 4,375 people from the Birdhill and Newport area now vote in the Limerick City constituency.

Three more seats have to be filled in this constituency. So far nationally 28 of the 160 seats have been filled – Sinn Fein have 21 seats; Independents – 3; Greens – 2; FF and FG – 1 each
