Stepping out for Grand Glamorous Fashion Show
Popular event returns to benefit cancer charity
The Grand Glamorous Fashion Show will return to Nenagh on Friday, November 6, in the Abbey Court Hotel. This year the event will be raising funds for the Mid-Western Cancer Foundation.
“This year, all funds are going to support the work of the Mid-West Cancer Foundation, which is an island of solace in dark times for people,” expressed Mary Garrigan, one of four lead organisers of the event.
“This event goes beyond fashion – it is about uplifting women, fostering connection and making a critical difference locally. We are honoured to support the work of the Mid-West Cancer Foundation in Mungret in Limerick, who offer vital care and support to those affected by cancer,” she said.
As expressed by those organising the event, with fashion, entertainment, local businesses, celebrity guests, prizes and, most importantly, a very worthwhile cause at its heart, the Glamorous Fashion Show promises to be a memorable night for Nenagh and the wider community.

The fashion show will then begin at 8pm.

A Celebration of Fashion
The Grand Glamorous Fashion Show will bring together fashion from Nenagh, Killaloe, Wexford, Galway and other parts of the country, creating a diverse and colourful showcase on the catwalk.
“It will be an amazing night of fashion, with fashion shops from Nenagh town, Killaloe, and Galway, along with some of the biggest dress designers showcasing their styles on the catwalk,” said Mary.
There will also be opportunities on the night for guests to win prizes, with raffle prizes, spot prizes, vouchers and hampers generously donated by local businesses.
Fashion will, of course, remain at the heart of the evening, with prizes for the best dressed ladies, as well as awards for the best shoes and best handbags, judged by the fashion influencers attending on the night.

Mid-Western Cancer Foundation
The beneficiary of this year's Glamorous Fashion Show is the Mid-West Cancer Foundation. Funds raised from this event will help to continue the organisation's provision of vital services, free of charge, to cancer patients and their families throughout the Mid-West region.
The foundation provides a range of supports, including complementary therapies, counselling, cancer support groups and other services designed to help people and families through the cancer survivorship programmes
The organisation has also recently commenced CLIMB, a programme supporting children aged between five and 12 who are living with a parent who has received a cancer diagnosis.
The foundation has expressed its sincere appreciation to everyone involved in the fundraiser. A spokesperson said: “On behalf of everyone at the Mid-West Cancer Foundation, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous support of this wonderful fundraiser. Your kindness and commitment will make a meaningful difference to the lives of so many individuals and families facing cancer.”
