Expansion of Birdhill service station

Applegreen Service Areas Ltd is seeking planning permission to expand its service station off the M7 at Birdhill.

The expansion is to accommodate a new HGV and coach parking area, vegetated infiltration basin and dog-walking trail; reconfiguration of the existing parking area to provide additional staff and customer car parking; new extended canopy and provision of three new pump islands.

Also planned is the removal of part of a canopy and pump under, relocation of a HVO tank and container, landscaped areas, new internal road and paths, and all associated site works.

Tipperary Co Council is to rule on the application by October 6.
