Nature walk in Garrykennedy

Arra Historical and Archaeological Society invite you to a nature walk in Garrykennedy guided by Dr Siobhán Geraghty on Wednesday, August 19.

Meet near the castle/old harbour at 6.30pm. Dr Siobhan Geraghty will be leading a nature walk through the woods at Garrykennedy. The talk will include observations on the naming traditions of plants, folklore and ecology, as well as the built heritage of the area.

Please note: Trip is subject to cancellation due to adverse weather. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear, and note that the trip will be conducted over uneven ground in places.
