Spate of burglaries in Nenagh district
A series of burglaries was reported in the Nenagh district between Monday night and Tuesday morning of this week. This included a burglary at Castle Oak estate in Nenagh, where a number of items were taken. An attempted break-in was reported at Kilnasalla, Nenagh, around the same time.
Another attempted house burglary was reported at Air Hill, Roscrea. Nothing was taken. A business premises at Dunkerrin was broken into around 3.45am on Tuesday. A number of items were stolen.
Elsewhere, thefts from cars in residential areas are continuing around the local district. Items were stolen from parked vehicles at Chapel Lane, Roscrea and Dromin Court, Nenagh, last Friday. Two cars were targeted in Drom na Coille, Nenagh, in the early hours of Friday last and items were stolen from both.
Gardaí are appealing for witness information in relation to the above incidents.
