Drug accused in court again

A man and woman charged in connection with the seizure of €280,000 worth of cocaine in Nenagh last month appeared before Nenagh District Court again last week.

Simone Hogan (28) of Ard Cruidín, Nenagh, is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of sale or supply, contrary to the Misuse of Drugs Act, at Ard Cruidín on May 19.

Shaun Hannan (29) of Milford Manor Green, Clondalkin, Dublin, is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of sale or supply, contrary to the Misuse of Drugs Act, at the Nenagh Ormond RFC car park and at Ard Cruidín on the same date.

Both accused appeared in court last Thursday via video link from prison. The court was informed that DPP directions are still awaited in the case. Judge Marie Keane remanded both accused in custody to appear before Nenagh District Court again on June 19.
