Killaloe Tidy Towns success at Bloom

Huge congratulations to Niamh O’Connor, Ballina, who won the Certificate of Distinction for her Killaloe Tidy Towns ‘Bee Community’ Postcard Garden at this year's Bord Bia Bloom.

The garden celebrates planting, place, and pollinators. Modelled on the community pollinator garden at the centre of the town, it features accessible, pollinator-centred planting that can be replicated in any community. Niamh put so much thought and effort into this garden, and this recognition and award, are so well-deserved. Well done, Niamh!

Over the past two years, Killaloe Tidy Towns have worked on what was a derelict and overgrown site opposite St Flannan’s Cathedral, and what a ‘horticultural masterpiece’ they have created!

Well done to these amazing volunteers, who work tirelessly, throughout the entire year, and in all weathers, to keep our town in pristine condition.
