Book served on murder accused
A book of evidence was served recently on a 16-year-old male accused of murder near Nenagh.
The teenager, who cannot be identified because he is a juvenile, is charged with the murder of Stephen Clarke at Castlecranna, Carrigatoher, on March 10 last year. He appeared before last Friday’s sitting of Nenagh District Court, where Detective Garda Declan O’Carroll gave evidence of serving the book of evidence in the presence of the accused’s mother.
Judge Marie Keane sent the accused forward on High Court bail in his own bond of €100 to the present sittings of the Central Criminal Court. Judge Keane directed that the same bail conditions as imposed on April 14 last were to apply.
