Entries sought for Tipp Film Festival
An exciting new initiative, the Tipperary Film Festival, will take place in Nenagh from September 11-13.
The festival aims to celebrate film, storytelling and creativity, with a strong focus on encouraging people of all ages and backgrounds to get involved. Submissions are open to everyone, across all age categories, giving people the opportunity to express themselves creatively through video — whether that’s storytelling, animation, documentary, or fun projects created at home or in school.
Submissions will open on May 1 and close on July 31, with entries welcome from anywhere.
Founded by Jake Mitchell, Seanpaul Fitzpatrick and Nancy O’Donoghue, the festival includes categories ranging from young creators through to an overall Grand Prize, as well as dedicated categories for seniors and Irish language films.
Films must be between one and five minutes in length. The festival will feature over €5,000 in prizes, including cash awards and filmmaking equipment.
