Go-ahead for MacDonaghs

Kilruane MacDonaghs GAA and Camogie Club has been granted conditional planning permission for a new pitch and walking track in Cloughjordan.

The club has succeeded in its application for the construction of a new playing pitch, associated goals, ball stop nets, floodlighting, dugouts, score board and fencing at its Townfields premises.

A walking track, associated protective fencing/barriers and lighting, a surfaced vehicular parking area, internal access road, lighting, alterations and improvements to an existing entrance, and all associated siteworks are included in the plan.

The new full-size playing field is to be an extension of and link with the existing GAA grounds. The walkway, at 2m width, is to extend around the existing playing pitch and new pitch with floodlighting for the perimeter of both pitches.
