Borrisokane Players take to the stage with ‘Play On’

Borrisokane Players are delighted to announce their 2023 production of ‘Play On’ by Rick Abbott.

This three-act comedy follows a community theatre group who are desperately trying to put on their play, in spite of the persistent interfering of the author, who is determined to keep revising the script and has the theatre group at their wits end. This hilarious comedy, directed by Tom Hayes and Eddie Lillis, is guaranteed to fill the hall with laughter and have the audience wondering whether it is in fact a play or a disastrous rehearsal they are witnessing.

Borrisokane Players are delighted to have seven new debutants take to the Clarke Memorial Stage for this year's production in Heather Cahill, Ann-Marie Byrnes, Barry Ryan, Clara Doherty, Julie Reddan, Emma Donnelly and Kevin Ryan. Regulars to the stage also return for this year's production in Deborah Doherty, Pat Fox and Annie Shanahan.

‘Play On’ will run on April 28, 29 and 30, with curtains up at 8.30pm sharp. Booking is advised on 086 0678124.
