Tennis and trad fundraiser for North Tipperary Hospice

Puckane Tennis Club is organising a night of music, song and dance in McGrath’s pub on Friday night, September 30, next to help raise funds for the North Tipp Hospice.

Club President Joe Kelly invites you to come along and enjoy a great night’s entertainment, commenting: “We have a terrific night in store, the rehearsals are going well, and we’re ready with musicians, dancers and a few surprises.”

There is no charge but a collection will be taken up on the night along with a raffle and the organisers hope all those attending will contribute generously to this worthy cause with all proceeds going to the North Tipp Hospice.

PRO of Ormond Comhaltas Brendan Quinn is eagerly anticipating the event – “A sure-fire night of entertainment!”

The festivities will start at 9pm after the finals of the Eddie Kelly Cup competition at the tennis courts. Local singers, dancers and musicians – as well as a comedian or two! – have generously offered their talents to provide the night’s entertainment. So, come along to McGrath’s on Friday September 30, enjoy the ceól and the craic, and lend your support to a very worthy cause.
