Nenagh Live celebrates St Patrick's Day

Nenagh Live returns to your screens this March to celebrate St Patrick's Day.

A new social media initiative aimed at promoting the town, Nenagh Live was widely acclaimed for its successful series of shows in the run-up to Christmas. Now the attention turns to Nenagh's celebration of St Patrick's Day with a special three-episode, three-day event to be broadcast across all social media platforms celebrating Nenagh, its people, its heritage and surrounding areas.

On behalf of Nenagh Live, Nenagh Municipal District and Tipperary County Council, Nenagh Live would like to invite the people of Nenagh to take part in this year’s St Patricks Day celebrations. Due to current restrictions the traditional parade and festivities are unable to proceed as normal.

How do I get involved? It is up to you, your students and your staff to come up with a fun, interesting and creative entry. Remember, all entries are welcome!

Parade entries can include schools, dance groups, musical performances, vehicles, machinery, sports clubs, local business, social and special interest groups of all descriptions.

How do I record my performance/entry Nenagh Live will provide a mobile broadcast unit to your location to record your promotional contribution. Please be aware, this is a socially distanced event. Should you choose to take part, this service will be supplied at no charge to you or your business.

Booking is essential! Confirmation via email of your submission and proposed participation must be received no later than Monday February 22nd. We require a brief description of your entry and contact details. Once your submission has been received, we will arrange a date and time to visit your location and record your performance/entry for broadcast.

Nenagh Live and the Tipperary County Council/Nenagh Municipal District are fully aware these are difficult times. While every effort will be made to schedule our visit at a time and date that will suit you, please be aware this may not always be possible due to the high volume of entries.
