Counting is to resume in the Limerick City constituency at 10am with two of the four seats filled. Sinn Fein's Maurice Quinlivan topped the poll to claim the first seat while Fianna Fail's Willie O'Dea was elected on the second count.

This morning's seventh county will begin with the distribution of the 3,150 votes of James Collins (FF). The current state of the candidates is:
