Craft class in Borrisokane

On December 17th Borrisokane Library welcomed the ETB centre in Borrisokane to display there Christmas Workshop Craft class. The two groups were organised by Silver Arch Family Resource Centre, Nenagh, and were facilitated and partly funded by Tipperary ETB Community Education Service. Tipperary ETB also kindly provided the venue for the groups which worked very well for the needs of the group.  The two groups ran on Tuesday and Thursday for two hours a week over six weeks and produced various styles of crafts including ceramic Christmas tree decorations, decoupage boxes, slate craft, Christmas table centre pieces, Christmas candle holders and garlands. All of which can be given as Christmas gifts to family and friends.
New friendships were formed, new skills were learned. These workshops were a wonderful way to bring the community together.
The learning of new skills and new friendships culminated in a wonderful display on December 17th in Borrisokane Library. 
Refreshments were provided by Silver Arch Family Resource Centre and Tipperary County Council Library Service. 
This was a great opportunity for new and no so new residents in the town to view the crafts and to get in the festive spirit! Nollaig Shona daoibh go léir ó Nóirín as Leabharlann Bhuiríos Uí Chéin.
