Tipp Macra news

We have had a busy couple of weeks with lots more coming up! Firstly, we held our county round of the Gaelic football on Monday night. Well done to Devil's Bit who were victorious on the night beating Thurles. Many thanks to all who took part and to Nenagh Macra for hosting the event.

On Wednesday  week, October 10th, Thurles will be hosting the county round of the Impromptu Debating. This will  take place in Noel Ryan's pub at 8pm. We then head to Reidy's Newtown on Friday, October 12th, where Nenagh Macra will be hosting Know Your Ag competition. Our next North Tipp meeting will be hosted before this. Everyone is invited to take part in these events, keep an eye on our facebook page for more details.

Thank You

Big thanks to Sean Kelly for hosting a very informative farm walk last Tuesday evening. There was lots of information around fodder management for the coming winter and springtime, with some very good tips from Michael Hogan of Teagasc too.
