Comhaltas to stage first 'Eanair san Aonach' this Saturday

Ormond CCÉ are kicking off 2017 with a day of traditional music workshops and entertainment.

The inaugural 'Eanair san Aonach' will take place on January 28th and the branch hopes this will become an annual event in the town. The organisers have lined up tutors who are widely renowned in their individual fields - button accordion player Daithí Gormley, fiddle player Tricia Clarke and a tin whistle class by David Kinsella. To book a place, text name and instrument to 085-2023385. The workshops take place at Gaelscoil Aonach Urmhumhan from 2-4pm and cost €10 per person.

This will be immediately followed by a students and tutors session in The Dapp Inn from 4.30pm – 6pm. Later that night we will have all the tutors plus talented local musicians playing together in The Dapp Inn at 9pm.

All are welcome to attend for what promises to be a great night’s entertainment.
