Christmas Day Charity Swim in Youghal Quay
It's that time of the year again when preparations are in train for the annual Christmas Day Charity Swim in Youghal Quay on the banks of Lough Derg.
This is a very special year as this will be the 25th anniversary of the very first charity swim at Youghal, which over the past two and a half decades has raised tens of thousands of euro for local worthy causes.
Three local groups doing great work in the community will benefit from this year's swim, the North Tipperary Friends of Bawnmore, the Killaloe/Ballina Community and Family Resource Centre and the North Tipperary group representing those with Motor Neurone Disease.
