Books of condolence for Anthony Foley

Books of condolence are being be opened for people to sign across Munster for Anthony Foley, RIP, including one at the Civic Offices in Nenagh.

The 42-year-old Killaloe native died overnight (Sat-Sun morning) in Paris as he was preparing for Munster’s first game in this season’s European Champions Cup.

 

As a mark of respect, the seven local authorities in Munster (Clare County Council; Cork City Council; Cork County Council; Kerry County Council; Limerick City and County Council; Tipperary County Council; Waterford City and County Council) will open books of condolence at 12 today (Monday October 17th).

 

This will allow all Munster Rugby supporters from the province to express their sympathies on the sudden passing of one of Munster’s most faithful and best players.

 

The Irish flag will also be flown at half mast outside the local authority offices.
