Hospice Christmas Tree of Remembrance in Nenagh
The Nenagh branch of North Tipperary Hospice will be lighting the Christmas Tree of Remembrance at Nenagh Courthouse this Saturday, December 5th, at 4pm.
People are reminded to return their envelopes with donations before 4pm this Friday, December 4th.
Each light on the tree will represent a soul departed, a grandparent, a best friend, a parent, a brother, a sister. By contributing even a relatively small sum to this venture, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that your donation is going to one of the most worthy local causes – the North Tipperary Hospice Nenagh branch.
Envelopes were recently circulated in the Guardian, on which you can write the name of a departed loved one. The local volunteers with the hospice's Nenagh branch will dedicate a light on the tree to your loved one for a minimum donation of €5. Remember, all money raised locally goes back into the local community. Envelopes can be returned to most banks in the town or to the Guardian office before 4pm on Friday. Extra envelopes are available at these locations.
