Nenagh toastmasters in divisional final

Best of luck to Willie Grace and Joe Ryan from Nenagh Toastmasters, who will represent Area 24 at the divisional final in Mullingar this weekend.

The club wish both contestants the very best of luck and urge as many members as possible to go and support them on this momentous occasion.

Nenagh Toastmasters had a very enjoyable meeting on Tuesday April 14th. Our President Rose Walsh regaled us with a very interesting story of life. Brendan O’Brien was Toastmaster of the evening while Morgan Ryan was in the topics
chair. Morgan provided lots of challenges and fun with his topics such as
“Matchmaker”, “Abuse of Power” and “Go where you are celebrated”. Congratulations to Donal Ryan, who gave his Stage One, and also well done to Shane Egan and Aidan Kissane, who were speaking on the night also. Francis Burke, Siobhan O’Leary and John Spillane gave great encouragement to these speakers in their roles as Evaluators. Martina Healy was timer of the evening while Donnacha Shanahan was “ah” and “em” counter. Willie Grace provided us with positive feedback in his role as General Evaluator.
The club wish to offer sincere condolences to Joe Ryan and his family on the passing of his father and also to David Nevin on the passing of his grandfather.
The next meeting of Nenagh Toastmasters will take place on Tuesday April 28th at 8.15pm in the Abbey Court Hotel. Guests are always welcome and will not be
asked to speak. Bígí linn.
