Racing Home for Easter Festival at Mallow

The 8th annual Racing Home for Easter Festival gets underway in Mallow this Saturday, centred between Market Square and Mallow Castle, and incorporating Cork Racecourse Mallow’s three-day Easter racing festival, which offers three days of top-class racing, and total prize-money of €346,000.

There is an extensive programme of activities throughout the festival weekend both at the racecourse and in Mallow town and a free shuttle bus to and from the racecourse each day.

Seven race Flat card, featuring the Cork Handicap at 4.25pm

DAY 2 – Easter Sunday 16th April
Most Stylish Sunday with Jessica O’Gara as celebrity judge

Eight race National Hunt card, featuring the Grade 3 Dr Vincent O’Brien Centenary Steeplechase at 3.05pm
 
Cork Airport and Cork International Hotel are the new joint sponsors of Most Stylish Sunday. The most stylish lady will win a trip for two Stateside on the newly announced Norwegian route to Boston Providence.  The prize also includes pre-flight accommodation and dinner in the Cork International Hotel and free car parking for the duration of the trip.   The winner can then relax in the private business lounge and enjoy a voucher for The Loop for duty free treats prior to take off.  The lucky winner and guest will spend three nights in the 4-star Lenox Hotel in Boston.
The most stylish gent will scoop a €500 voucher for Barry’s Menswear Mallow.
