Cat neutering scheme in Roscrea

Due to the numbers of unwanted and abandoned kittens being handed into us at the moment Roscrea SPCA will run an Enhanced Neutering Scheme for the month of August. We urge all cat owners to be responsible pet owners and avail of this opportunity.

This scheme is available to all cat owners. Roscrea SPCA will pay half the cost of neutering male and female cats. Cats from 6 months old and upwards can be neutered.

Female cats don’t have to have a litter before being neutered and neutered cats are healthier than their unneutered counterparts.

The cost for the month of August - female cat €30, male cat €15. We also have a number of 7/8 week-old kittens looking for their ‘Forever Homes’. They are wormed and litter trained.
