Borrisokane Enhancement & Painting Scheme 2016

Tipperary County Council Initiative is seeking to improve the streetscape and public realm of Borrisokane. They wish to do this through supporting owners of properties in the Primary Retail Area in improving and enhancing their properties and public areas generally by such means as, but not limited to:

1. Removal of inappropriate contemporary signage, fittings and general clutter and replacement with shop fascia signage (with an emphasis on hand painted signage);

2. Painting and general improvements to commercial and residential building frontages;

3. Erection of planters; floral hanging baskets or other environmental improvements.

Making an application:

1. The applicant must indicate their legal interest in the property.

2. The applicant must provide wriitten consent from the owner if lessee of tenant.

3. The completed application form must be signed by the applicant.

4. Completed forms must be returned to Rosemary Joyce, District Administrator, Nenagh Municipal District, Civic Offices, Nenagh as soon as possible but not later than Friday, June 17, 2016.

5. Incomplete applications may delay processing and may result in the application not being considered.
