North Tipperary Foxhounds to host annual Point-to-Point

The annual North Tipperary Foxhounds Point-to-Point race meeting is set to take place again in Lisboney this Sunday, 31st January.

Another big crowd is expected again this year at the Dublin road venue for what is always a popular event on the local equine calendar.

A total six races will be held with the first going to post at 12:30pm, the Liam Buckley Car Sales 5-year-old Geldings Maiden.

Also on the cards again is the Ladies Open race sponsored by Connolly's Red Mills. There is also a large field in the Millerect L.T.D. Sponsored 5-year-old Mares Maiden.

The course itself is three miles long for 24 furlongs which is standard length for point-to-point tracks. It is a challenging course with a tough uphill finish that will sort the great from the good, and will leave for a thrilling climax to closely fought races with the going expected to be heavy.

Entry is €10 for adults and free entry for children in what is always a gret family day out. Punters can also avail of free parking and full catering facilities will be provided.
