Presentation ceremony at Nenagh Community Training Centre

Thirty-three young people received certificates in a presentation ceremony at Nenagh Community Training Centre last Monday.

Certificates were awarded in a variety of subjects including child development and play, communications, food and nutrition, handling food hygienically, health related fitness, information technology, data entry, maths, work experience, personal effectiveness, woodcraft and painting, client consultation for hair services, health & safety practices in the hair salon, the art of dressing hair, working in the hairdressing salon, shampooing and conditioning hair, reception skills, platting and twisting hair, the art of hair colour, introduction to the health & beauty industry, scalp massage, and professional image. Many of the recipients received multiple awards.
The certificates were awarded by Quality Qualification Ireland (QQI) and Vocational Charitable Trust Awarding Bodies.

Nenagh CTC Manager Michael Collins praised the staff of the centre for their hard work along with that of the learners and the board of management. Wishing the learners luck in the future, the manger encouraged those leaving Nenagh CTC to contact the centre for assistance at any time.
