Liam gleeson launches his new album in buddys in capparoe

Liam Gleeson launches his brand new album “Come What May…” this Friday 21st August in Buddys bar, Capparoe at 8:30pm.

This album mastered and produced by Peter Maher of Middlewalk studios is a mix of traditional favourites like “Fare Thee Well love”, “Troubled Times” and “Bless the Broken Rd” combined with songs from musicals like Blood Brothers “Tell me its not true” and Moulin Rouge “Come What May”. There are also a number of never heard before original songs penned by local songwriters Seamus Doran & Billy Collins which are sure to be well received. Liam is accompanied in a number of duets by local soprano Sheelagh Chadwick one of Irelands finest female voices.

The launch night In Buddys on Friday promises to be a musical feast, as such well-known local musicians as Theresa Larkin, Hughie McGrath, Kevin Carroll, Seamus Doran and Kathleen Costelloe all join Liam on stage. Guest performances on the night also from the wonderful AmaDeus and the Silvermines Folk Choir.

This is a free event and all are welcome, with half of the CD sales proceeds on the night going to local cancer charity Suaimhneas a part of North Tipperary Hospice.
