Irish Independent Park & Energia Park confirmed to host U20s & Women’s 6 Nations Fixtures

6 Nations rugby will be played in Cork for the first time as the Ireland U20s’ two 2019 6 Nations home fixtures have been confirmed to take place at Irish Independent Park.

Noel McNamara’s side will host England in Cork on the opening weekend of the U20 6 Nations Championships before welcoming France to Irish Independent Park in Round 4 of the competition.

The Ireland Women’s 2019 6 Nations home fixtures against both England and France will take place at Energia Park in Dublin.  Since moving to the Donnybrook venue in 2016 the Ireland Women have enjoyed a strong record of four wins and just two losses in the 6 Nations at the Dublin city centre venue.

Ireland women’s coach Adam Griggs will be looking for another strong performance at Energia Park in November as his side take on the USA as they ramp up preparations for next year’s 6 Nations.

Dates, kick-off times and ticket information for the U20s and Womens’ 6 Nations fixtures will be confirmed in due course.
